Episode 1Episode 2: Who is Who? |
Friday, March 18th
Who's who? Tom is short for Thomas. His surname is Fielding,he was born on the twenty-second of March in Leeds in the Yorkshire. So, he is English. He is twenty-three years old. Now, he lives in London, maybe because he goes to a Musical Theatre School there. We don't know if he has a sister yet (pas encore)but he has got a pet dog.He is fond of presents and birthday cakes, he is fan of 60s and 70s rock music and he usually goes to his friends' to listen to old records on Saturday nights. He says that he is a great badminton player, he can act,he can sing very well,he can dance. He quotes one of Shakespeare's famous quotation ''To be or not to be...that's the question'' which is taken from Hamlet. What about Rose? Rose was born on the same day,at the same place. So,we can deduce they are Twins. His twin sister also loves acting and singing, she goes to a Musical Theatre School too.Maybe, that's why it is called The Twins' podcast. |

Today, it's March 17th It's Saint Patrick's day! Saint Patrick is celebrated mostly in Ireland and in the U.S.A. He was born in England so he wasn't Irish. He was kidnapped by Irish Raiders (malfaiteurs, pilleurs, brigants) when he was sixteen and spent 6 years in captivity. He converted to Christianity and spent the rest of his life as Christian missionary. He died on March 17th 461,he was largely forgotten until they decided to make him the Patron Saint of Ireland. Now you have to wear green clothes or you're pinched on Saint Patrick's day. It was first celebrated in the US by a group of Irish immigrants in a Tavern , now there are 3,000,000 people watching the parade in New York City on March 17th and 200,000 in the Parade. |
